Koffi Anan, UNO secretary, severly blame Israel about the massive home destruction they did during last month.

Three huge habitation tower were dynamited as well as several house ( about 200), which let more than 2000 PA without home. It happen in Gaza bank.

Annan said it is collective punishment on civil, which is against international human right. He tell to Israel to stop immediatly such action, as well as the security wall ( which is an illegal annexion.

Do you expect Sharon to listen, me dont think so, do you expect USA sanction, me dont think so. What a hellhole the holy land has become.

The UN has a long history of being anti-Israeli. This is unsurprising. Fortunately, however, the UN is becomming less and less relevant.

I dont think UNO is anti-Israel, There is international law and israel dont respect them, so it is UNO job to blame them.

And the most important thing here is, if you dont respect international law, then your ennemy will do exactly the same, and the atrocity wont stop.

A fine argument for Israel. I couldn't have said it more succinctly myself.

Welcome to the winning team ;)

International law is like a black cat in a dark room that isn't there. Who exactly decided this law? Who exactly enforces this law? Who interprets this law? Can you appeal against it? Basically, international law is useless since only those who can't enforce want to enforce it. I can guarantee you that every single nation on this planet has violated some international law or another, so why focus solely on Israel?

Right - so there was nothing wrong with their leaving homeless 2,000 people ?

There is no doubt that the UN General Assembly has a history of being anti-Israel, but that doesn't mean Annan's criticism here is wrong too.

PA is not a country yet, they have no army, all they can do is desesperate action such as suicide bombing to defend their land.

Give them a country first including all occupied territory and then they will have to comply to international law.

International laws are signed by most nations, including Israel (i think). Indeed, most nations have violated some int.law at one time or another & have been condemned for it. The UN doesn't focus solely on Israel.

Do you prefer that we go back to dark age, where you can rape, genocide, use chemical weapon as well as bioweapon to conquiere land ?

International law are there to prevent atrocity. If you choose to live like a barbarian then its your personal choice and eventualy pay for it.

You may not believe me , but palestinians WANT their houses to be demolished because they get a VERY good cash for this from Israel as a compensation . When last anti-arms-smuggle action was taken in Gaza strip , many palestinians stated falsely there is tunnel under their house just to have their house demolished and compensation payed .

And , more , if you know ,your house will be demolished -- stop your son being terrorist . Simple like that .

These 3 particular building were alledge to have been use as a staging area for an palestinian attack, if true, making them a military target.

Tassadar, the thing is, the people sending the suicide bombers arent interested in the occupied territories, they want it all. Theyve said it themselves repeatedly. In their view, Israel is an illegitimate entity thats illegally occupying their country. As long as Israel exists in any way, shape or form on territory that they see as theirs, the bombers will keep coming.

According to my source, those 3 huge habitation tower were still under construction. A staging area for PA attack? with which army? with wich missile ? oh , your talking about a lonely desesperate suicide bomber who want a revange because his father were kill in a colateral damage israeli's action. what a big military target, they should have nuke it insteed.

Ihea, sure they want their home destroy and live in the village dump insteed.

But they had people living there?
Were these towers habitable? Could someone use them for military purposes?
If so, they COULD be military targets.

No, Nuking it would cause far too many deaths.
In this case no one died, and the alleged military target was destroyed.
If the buildings were indeed used for Military purposes, I call this action Just.

1.- Could ??? they are already destroy

2.- Too bad Israel refuse UNO observer, you could have prove your point. Or is it better that nobody know execpt IDF ?

Edit: Ieha, read point number 2 .

1.- Could ??? they are already destroy

Could could also be used in the past. Answer the question.

2.- Too bad Israel refuse UNO observer, you could have prove your point. Or is it better that nobody know execpt IDF ?

A UNO observer would play to the hands of the Palestinians.
No nation wold like a UNO oberver following it's every step. The Palestinian use guerilla warfare so a UNO observer will work much to their benefit.

1.- Hey, we are not talking about bounker or missile silo or scud launcher here, we are talking about habitation tower. Here in Montreal, a few year ago, a gang war was raging. Both use minute bomb and gun fighting. When the police had a suspected appartement holding explosive, they didnt bomb the entire building. They went in, investigate, find explosive if any and proceed according to law. So if you suspect 1 suicide bomber to live in 1 appartement, do you realy need to destroy 3 habitation tower to got him ?. You cant speculate and bomb everything that move.

2.- No, thats false. UNO observer will only help proof your point if any. They can easily prove if explosive were found or quasam missile factory discover. If you want a fair trial in UNO , you need UNO observer. By hiding and speculate you only get more suspicion.

Tassadar , my nick is Leha , I realised only now you were addressing me :)

I mentioned qassam missiles , because you like to reffer to some " lone suicide bomber" . While suicide bomber is terrible weapon by himself , palestinian terrorists have other weapons , like qassam missiles , mortars , rocket propelled grenades , firearms and tons of explosives .

About compensation . No , they don't move to the dump . When you have good amount of cash , you build new house , better than previous .
