Unofficial HG follow-up poll.

I'm sorry that I post it, but the TC is too close and Snipelfritz not present right now. Snipelfritz can choose what to do with the outcome of this poll.

In HG poll 1 there came some (Rik-ignited) discussion on how to use the results of that poll.
"No HG-buildinging" won, but the individual "Yes"-votes outnumbered the "no" vote.

Follow up poll between the city that got the most "yes" votes and "no".

Do we build the Hanging Gardens in Shorin-Ryu or do we not build it ?

1 - Build HG in Shorin-Ryu
2 - Don't build HG if it has to be in Shorin-Ryu
3 - Abstain

Poll will stay open till the next TC or when Snipel requests to close it.

I voted against building the Hanging gardens this time around. Admitedly(sp?) I was for it the first time around but had not read enough in to the details and voted hastily the first time.

Well, this poll should be yes or no to Hanging Garden, and then it should be Governor Zarns responsibility to build one within his province. A citizen that voted AGAINST HG may be considered inhabile setting up this poll, which should be done by the Cultural Minister.
Please repoll yes or no, and Governor Zarn, prebuild in Fanatikku so we can redecide for Fanatikku what to build if there is support or not for HG or other wonders..

Well, an unofficial poll is invalid for more than just the reason you've stated, Provolution. But that doesn't mean Snipelfritz can't use it. The poll this poll is based on clearly had the city of Shorin-Ryu as HG-city; if the HG was to be build.

I suggest the citizens still vote in this poll and SnipelFritz decides what to do with the result.

RM, bad move. In your unofficial poll, you have cut Fanatikku out of the situation. Whether you intended to do this or not, doesn't matter. But now you have made a very biased poll, unintentionally or not. I thought you were a mathematician? You can't remove one of the factors and expect the results to remain equal. Not only is this poll informal, it is very poorly laid out, unfair to many voters, and should not be used as an information gathering tool.

The "cutting out of Fanatikku" was based upon Snipelfritz's remark in the previous poll. From that I concluded that if the HG will be build it can only be build in the "winner" of that poll. I'm sensing from you Cyc that Fanatikku should be included. I'm also aware you voted for that location in the original poll. Coincidence ??? I think not.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I was intending for the yes votes to add up to the greater of the four. I'm sorry I didn't explain it. I put this poll together pretty quickly. I'll admit I should've done this better by having a preliminary vote on whether or not to build it and then a vote on where to build it. Well I guess I know better for next time.

As there are twelve "for votes" and ten "against votes", and Shorin-Ryu is the highest, we shall build it there. This is not yet set in stone though. The possibility of switching to another wonder later on still exists.

A - The "cutting out of Fanatikku" could not possibly be based on snipelfritz's remark, as before you posted this poll, he declared that the results of that poll were nullified. Therefore any statements he made prior to that are also nullified. Of course I voted for Fanatikku. It's 10 times more sensible than Shorin-Ryu. My choice of city locations had nothing to do with my pointing out what a biased and unfair poll this is. And...

B - Because this is such a biased and unfair poll, snipelfritz is not required to use it on an informational basis, nor should he on a common sense baisis. And voting ABSTAIN would just verify and approve your terribly written poll.

Though I appreciate the effort, Rik, I don't feel that this accurately finds The Will of the People. I have decided to completely restart discussion on wonders. A more organized and thought out discussion.
