Unqonquerable island

Help, i`m playing with the zulu`s and the chinese, i`m the zulu`s and the chinese have got one city left on a little island, and i can`t conquer it could anyone help me please

War is like beer you can`t get enough of it, that`s why i like Civ3

Use marines. Marines are the only thing you can use to attack cities on 1-tile islands.

Or cruise missiles.

nukes or bombers and battleships. only then use marines. You won't get any pollution if it's a one square city.

If that is all they've got left, it might be better to conquer somebody else...

Well that`s the problem i bombed the city with 3 tactical nukes and 3 ICBM`s and tried to attack with the marine in the transport but the comp[uter keeps telling me that only ground units can attack

You can't attack by moving the transport into the city. To attack from a transport with marines, you must right click on the boat, activate the marine, and then move it in an attack. I hope that this will solve your problem.

Are you sure its a Marine, and not some other unit that you are trying to activate and move into the city???
