updating problems

i just bought the game a month ago. i tried to update it for the patches i dont have and it just freezes. any one know what to do

What you mean updating? You go to the screen and click on update? I have ever done that. From what I read people have trouble doing that. You might have to uninstall the game, then delete any files left in the folder, do a clean install, and download the patch and install it that way.

The in-game updater has quite a few problems. I recommend you download the patch off of this site and then install it. It took me about ten minutes as opposed to more than three hours of the updater continuously running.
