Upgrading Horsemen to Knights

I'm a casual Civ gamer and I follow these forums sometimes for some nice tips and such. Thanks everyone for a great resource.

Anyway, something came up in my latest Civ game that I don't understand. My cities are all connected, I have iron and horses, yet I can't upgrade my Horsemen to Knights. The Civopedia says that Horsemen do upgrade to Knights. My cities can build Knights, but they can't upgrade to them! I am running 1.17f. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have baracks in the city where yo're trying to upgrade them? Gotta have baracks

Ah just figured it out. Yeah I had Barracks but just didn't have enough gold. Costs 80 and I only had about 60. Waited a few turns and it showed up once I had enough. Thanks!
