Using Nationhood

- (I don't know before maces, probably LB? or archers?)

You can draft Warriors...I grabbed Nationalism with The Oracle in one (Noble) game and that's what I could draft. The happiness was useful at least. I had always assumed it allowed you to draft the best available Melee/Gunpowder unit but never really did anything to prove it.

I guess if you didn't have Archery, and never hooked up any strategic resources, then this would be the case.

This is a good thread. I'm about to go on the offensive against my two remaining neighbours (actually there is a third, but I've finished most of him off and what remains is stuck on an island - plus he's at war with one of my neighbours, so I figured since I'm going for Conquest why not take out one of the others while I'm at it?). Anyway, I'm running Vassalage for the extra XP but I think that, once I've rebuilt my military sufficiently, I might switch to N'hood to reap the benefits of the :) from barracks (in conjunction with Police State, which I'm also running, that should knock the war weariness on its head).
