Not sure if this game flaw is well known, so I am posting it here on the off chance that it is not known and can be communicated to Firaxis.
We tried a Succession Game with the Human player permanantly allied with 2 AI's and permanantly at war with 3 other AI's.
There is no making peace of course and WW become too extreme. Killing off one of the other civs doesn't even help.
We got the Pyramids, but I have to say it wasn't fun even then. WW was terrible.
Here is a screen shot of what things would be like if we missed the pyramids. Note that WW is 420%, so each citizen generates 4.2 unhappy faces (with the pyramids one can switch to police state and it is a mere 2.1 unhappy faces per citizen).
I think there should be a cap on WW as with Civ3. Team play should WW more like an Always War game, since you cannot declare peace.
The crippling war weariness made this game no fun to play. Even with the pyramids we were struggling to stay positive gold at 0% science.
