Varica: In Haeka's Name

OOC: Vert, so you know, Validira was alerted to the passage of your armies. There are reasons for this that I will elaborate on later. However, he does not know this until halfway through update, as per your orders. This diplomacy should be considered to occur at the beginning of the second year's campaigning season.

What! But as I just pointed out he must be claiming the entire jungle! I don't have to go near his territory and I clearly said I would avoid detection in my orders. I don't understand?

Assfell would declare war on Nakar, but finds itself in a dilemma; can the act of chasing fleeing Nakar troops truly be considered war? No, we suppose instead of declaring war, we should declare a race. Yes, Nakar, we declare a race on you, a race which involves you running for your lives, and us chasing you.

What! But as I just pointed out he must be claiming the entire jungle! I don't have to go near his territory and I clearly said I would avoid detection in my orders. I don't understand?

OOC: You don't have to understand :p Not everything always goes according to plan you know...

I can't be the only ones with advanced border sentries...

OOC: I know things don't always go to plan but I still don't understand why my army would march through or near your territory when it was told to actively avoid detection.

So another puppet of Hroth's has barked at its master's bidding. The worse you can do is renforce Varcia and there your armies will break. The best you can do is turn away from this evil Spawn pf a Sargothi Hroth and side with us but I doubt that will happen. Oh well.

Update gonna be awhile. They put me on an hour, hour and a 1/2 commute this week and next, plus buddy's wedding this weekend (I'm in the wedding party) a friend is visiting from Australia, and I now have a girlfriend to attend to.

Bumpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Bumpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Bumpty together again.

In other words, I noticed that you still are "active" every now and then and would like to know if there is still any hope for this, since I really liked the way this was turning out.

I really hope so...

Life has gotten rather complicated lately. I hope to update you guys soon on whether this can continue or not. I really love this game, so I hope I'll find the time somewhere.

Quitting NESing.

Hope it's not permanent, NVAG, but best of luck to your future exploits.

Ok, this is basically confirming the state the game has obviously slipped into. We're on an indefinite hiatus. I love this game, I really do. The caliber of the players and their stories is much greater than any game I have ever run on this site or any other. I feel that we're really building something here, telling a wonderful story, and I don't want to throw that all away. So, when I have the time again, I will revive this game.

In the meantime, you can see the future of the Haecomus at Ad Astra's new home in the story debates section of Space Battles, where I play at less than 1/5 of the activity level I should.

I hope to enjoy weaving this story with you all again sometime in the near future.

I look forward to the revival. I might have already mentioned/implied this, but I had some very ambitious plans for my new king.

The Tyrant will fall! The Nakar will ensure that no one empire ever reachs such power again! I look forward to the revival Fulton.

OOC: The Nakar were destined to the dustbins of history :p

Just sittin in the desert, eatin figs and watching the crazy northerners brain each other.

It's too bad. I was just about to start the whole story line of who was going to get the throne when Haergar died... :(

Update: We're looking at a possible December revival. Keep your fingers crossed gentlemen, so long as things don't radically change in my near future, we should be good to go just in time for the holidays.

Well, that's something to look forward to. We pick up where we left off?
