very interesting idea

I was thinking about the use of gas in WW1 and have decided that it would be really cool to have 'gas artilley' or something to that effect. IF THIS IS POSSSIBLE i think it's range should be reduced everything else kept the same except for 1 thing which unfortunately i'm not sure is possible. it should have a chance, a relatively high one at that, of polluting the square it bombards. it would be a devaststing weapon so it'd have to cost a fair amount and it could probably use the same animation as regular artilley.

You could treat it like a nuke and pollute the environment. Problem is it takes far longer to clean up nuclear waste than letting gas dissipate into the atmosphere.

This isn't possible the way you want it done (I'm pretty sure about this ;p )... though it is a neat idea I doubt it will be implemented by Firaxis, though I suppose they could, with minimal coding, add some sort of flag you could check to make it do that....'course, perhaps they have the system set up differently than I'm imagining it, anyway, don't count on something like this....
