Well anyways..I own Civilisation 3, but for some reason when I got it the CD copy protection thing was stuffed, thus I got a fixed Civ3 exe file from Firaxis. This cleared things up for me.
Well, I downloaded the 1.17f patch just the other day. I looked in the fixes list...WOW!! It was like nearly everything I wanted, stack movement, supression of cities changing due to culture by use of military force ect. I think you get the idea.
Anyway, once I installed it, Civ3 would load up just fine. But once into the game, ALL THE TEXT IS F**KED UP!!!!!!! by F**KED up I mean, for example. When you're creating your world, it has a box on the right saying "Barbarian Activity" right? well, the text in there has been altered for some reason so that the phrase "YOUR CIVILISATION" is in the box.
Anyway, there are LOADS more text problems like this. Too much to include here. But is anyone else having this problem? and if so, do you know any solutions?
