Victorian Railroad & remade road

I'm always thinking that we need better looking railroads, and about a month ago I set about to making a set that I liked. This is the result. What I hope this looks like is a very old fashioned railroad with brass rails and oak ties. I paired it with some roads I made for the Steampunk mod that appear "sunken" into the ground, as old roads do.

They are a bit reddish, but I like the general style of them!

You see why the track had to be bright, in order to be seen...

Any chance of making a greyer version of the rails as an alternate for other scenarios, if not I may try and re-colour them for my own use.

@Oz: That's a problem with the regular RR's too - the river graphics go on top of the RR graphics

The roads look great. They really make the terrain look more 3D. Railroads look great too, but especially the roads.

Thank you everyone. I'm glad the roads are getting attention too. If anyone wants to post a screenie of them on a different terrain, I'd be interested.

As for bridges, someone in the development team goofed. The rivers should have gone on the 'terrain' layer, not the 'overlay' layer. Maybe Steph can fix that someday. I have bridged larger rivers as you can see in this screenshot from an unfinished mod I hope to get back to...someday.....

Very nice work. I think those roads would fit very well into any of the mods that focus on early eras, such as TAM or AD.
