Also, i was rome, and mongols invaded my city and took it,, then the game ended:mad: , i could of retaken the city the next turn! but the game ended!!!

which setting am i clicking wrong?

thanks

Ok the exact message it says is

"you have suffered an embarrising conquest defeat"

but i was not conquored!! just one city was!!!, i could of re-taken and dominated these guys!! i spent 5hours on it! :(

If your last city is conquered or destroyed by the AI, and you don't have a settler running around, you lose. Game over.

About the starts: Load the world map in the editor and rtight-click at a starting location. Choose "reassign", and you can now pick the correct civilization to that starting location. Repeat this for all the starting locations and you have a historically 'correct' start.

BTW: If you had any other cities still under control when your city was taken you're playing with (mass) Elimination, or regicide, I can't remember. That's one of the PTW victory conditions. You can uncheck it in the start creen, when you also select the difficulty level...

Hope this helps.

ok, i'll remeber to turn those options off! thanks alot for your help!

Hmm... Oh that's how you do it! I mean the reassign thingy... Thx. :)
