So.....Ever since I got a new monitor for christmas, I've been running a 1680 x 1050 resolution. Now Civ: BTS crashes everytime my game reaches the middle ages (around 650 - 1200 AD). I'm assuming that my video card is the culprit. Should I buy a new one? or is there another solution besides lowering the resolution. Any help would be much appreciated.

I assume the game ran fine before you got the new monitor?

Buy a new monitor. You asked for solutions. I think 1650x1050 is a daft resolution.

Run the game windowed, in like, 1280x780 or something.

Odd that you can play that long before a crash though. If there really are video conflicts, I think the program would crash on start-up. Maybe it's actually your RAM?
Do you get errors with any other software?
