Video card problem.

I downloaded a copy of System Shock 2, but it wont run on my system. The error I get is "Your video card is not compatable with SS2." Is this fixable?

I am running a 1.2G machine with XP home version and no seperate card. None of the compatability thing XP offers have done doodly.

I presume you mean you have an on-board video card? Try setting hardware acceleration to basic on the display adapter.

Try the technical support, although they might be a bit reluctant to help given its a downloaded copy....

The game is no longer being marketed, although I dont know why. That is why it was available for down load.

Yes, the video is all in the mother board. The games is 1999, so its demands should not be that much. I was really wondering if it was another XP compatability problem.

EDIT: I only see the demo available for download, not the full version of the game.
