Ran into this while testing Fall From Heaven 2. May help with BTS as well. If you are getting CTD's and you use Vista installing 9.0c from the link below may resolve your problems. It appears to work for new games only (will not let you recover from a crashed save but may work from an earlier autosave before the crash)
