I voted for Ethiopia and Madagascar. I'm not familiar enough with this region to propose any others, except that I'd prefer the Zulu didn't return.

Voted for Ethiopia (Aksum) and Swahili as a whole. Great Zimbabwe we simply don't know enough about.

Voted for Ethiopia (led by Menelik II), Madagascar (led by Ranavalona), Zimbabwe (led by Nyatsimba Mutota)

Also interested in an Angola/Ndongo, Swahili/Kilwa, Somalia, and Great Lakes Kingdoms (Buganda, Rwanda, Burundi) civs. Zulus appearing again is fine with me.

Realistically, only Ethiopia and Zulus will be added, the rest need to be done by modders.

So many interesting choices.
If I could vote against the Zulus I would, even though I understand that they are like a tradition for this series. I'm a bit tired to see south Africa represented by warriors. The Swahili might be a nice choice.

Since the region is already represented by Kongo, I feel that we don't need more than 2 civs to do the rest of it. This way there would still be enough room for some civs from the rest of Africa, like Benin, Mali, and a maghreb state.

Voted for Swahili, which would probably be best represented as the Kilwa Sultanate, and Ethiopia. Many of the other civilizations, in particular the Zulu, don't have enough historical significance to warrant inclusion in my opinion.
