📚 Admin Project Update: Added a new feature to PictureBooks.io called Story Worlds. It lets your child become the hero of beloved classic tales! Choose from worlds like Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Treasure Island, Arabian Nights, or Robin Hood. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Everyone loves SMAC - that has to be the next 'update'. Colonisation was great, for a while, but SMAC is (possibly) the most interesting in the series...
I'm trying to vote it up the list, but I need help!
I love the look of the fungus in that game, you can automate everything if you didn't want to micromanage, and how was it tedious? It was like Test of Time but even greater.
As well as fun, and immersive. It is by far, in my opinion, the most immersive game that Sid Meier has made. You really feel like a faction leader sitting in your tower directing your forces around the map.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I totally agree. I've played every Sid Meier game since the
days of DOS and Amiga. And SMAC is the worst of the lot, with Gettysburg a close second.
It's ugly, pretentious and boring. It could only be of interest to sci-fi-driven techo-freak
adolescents with an obsession with futuristic FPS's.
The best for me was Civ2 with Col as close 2nd. I await Col2 with much hope and
anticipation. Meanwhile I only play RFC now as it appeals to my alt-history inclinations.
SMAC, in my view, wasn't even worth the cost of the packaging.
PS If my remarks seem unnecessarily ageist, forgive me. But I have actively hated SMAC for 15 years.
