Vox Populi and EUI missing required dependencies

New Win 11 laptop and trying to get Civ 5 set up on it as had on old. So just installed VP. Cannot activate VP or EUI in game Mods as says in red " Mod is missing required dependencies".

Haven't even started a game yet on this laptop. No other mods going. Guess it's VP version 4.16.2

Any insights?

Think figured out that game made me select Community Patch first, then could also load VP and EUI.

However, this looks nothing like what I played on prior laptop. Something similar yet also way different. All sorts of new units, luxuries, policy tree is different, tech paths are different, etc, etc, etc. Not sure what is causing this. Is this the community patch? Do not believe I used that prior, and games using it probably aren't eligible for Gauntlet games right? Guess am dead in the water until get this figured out.

Why no answers? Am I posting in wrong place here? Am pretty positive only ran VP and EUI on my Win 10 laptop but now Steam is acting like I need Comm Patch and my guess is this adds a lot of new game stuff that I am VERY unfamiliar with. And not even sure will be allowed by HoF.

Also started GOTM with the 3 mods running(I think?) and it reverted to normal tech paths....but all the trackers were missing for science, culture, religion and gold. Not even a listing for the date of the game. And it said Policies and Happiness "turned off". So that did not seem right. Think something is seriously amiss here.

Believing crux of my issues is this Community Patch.....now seems to have taken over my new laptop somehow.

I have deleted it numerous times, in efforts to see if can get VP and EUI to run alone, like always prior. Or even just EUI. Even emptying trash. Then when I start Civ 5 and go into Mods, it reinstalls the Community Patch from nowhere and if I go in Win Explorer into the Mods file, there it is again.

Anyone? What the hell is going on with this Patch? Hoping don't have to wipe this new laptop back to default just to get rid of this.

Pardon my ignorance on these patches...installed on old laptop so long ago, can't recall what's what. So finally got things how I like....got Comm Patch 1.39 going, and EUI and C/S Diplo Mod

The key for me is having the icons for progress towards tech, policies, religion, etc, etc...so guessing that's the EUI that does that....had trouble getting that to work properly, but finally did and my game looks like it did on old laptop.

However, when went to place my very first settler...every time goes into city screen, the game crashes. So that's not good.
