VOX POPULI "Can't load vassal80.dds

The mod works, but I can't load the vassal80.dds or vassal80hl.dds files. I found them in a seperate pack aftter doing some digging on the forums, but I don't know which folder they are surposed to be in so I can check if I have them, they miss and where to put them. I an new to civ5 this forum etc. So talk to me as a complete noob, I know nothing of other programs to use etc. (Except steam). I downloaded the VOX POPULI mod from this site and used the automatic installer.

If the mod works, why do you need to load those graphic files? Are you trying to open those files separately, to view or edit the graphics?

No the files are part of the mod, I have a red grafic error in the top right corner just next to the "dollar" symbol, so I imagine the grafic is connected to that.
