VoxPopuli Modpacks (Update: 4.16.1)

You should have the same map folder with the same maps inside. When playing multiplayer only the maps inside the MAP folder that is inside the "asset" folder is used. To be more precise multiplayer do not use the map folder inside "documents/mygame/civilizationV" folder.

Is there a DLC version of the info addict mod? I've downloaded several but none of them worked with VP.

For Hokath's tweaks modmod I have deleted the changes related to the spy system, the buffed zoo and airport, hotel and all the changes on melee units line.
Then I have deleted the +1 acquire radius by the "Lebensraum" Tenet (Autocracy), and nerfed the population supply from "United Front" tenet (Autocracy). I have deleted the promotion "withdraw melee attack" from "Prowler" (Iroquois) and the promotion "Agincourt" from Longbowman (England).

Ive copied 4.16.0_VP-SSEMSU-EUI to Assets/DLC
Starting with random civilization, setting up last era and random map from VP-specified maps.
Everything is fine, EUI is working, no missing .dds or smthng, but after 1st turn its always CTD crash.
Any ideas?

AI expansion and army size is very weak.
Normally they play the same as in sologame (with VP, on vanilla the AI was dumber on multiplayer). Every human player should use the same difficulty settings or it will be an average.

Well I can start a game in ancient era and play without issue but I CTD during first AI turn if I start in the last age. On both EUI modpacks (I didn't tested on no-EUI)
I think it is a VP bug that should be reported on github. Could you do it ?

I'm glad you introduced me to hokath's tweeks, cause i fell in love with them. However, after trying the modpack out i realized how attached I've becomed to EUI and was unable to continue playing after a few turns
 
@Agiwan I can't for the life of me make the modpack show bonus resources from the start of the game (or change it to not show even luxuries). Someone in the VP Discord recommended me inserting theses lines in the modpack XML file but I can't find which file as well. Any help is appreciated :):

Should be "Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\ZMP_MODSPACK\Override\CIV5Units.xml" file :)

I really like EUI, but it's not stable at all because of its memory consumption so I play without it. It takes time but you'll get used to play without it.

My roommate and i have never had a big problem with EUI. Every once in a while when the game hits around industrial he (the host) needs to turn of yields, but that's much preferable to non EUI gameplay
 
Hello everyone, be aware that in my latest modpacks with 4UC modmod (and 4.15 ones I think) the polynesia civ have access to only one unique unit because I am using an outdated 4 UC version.
When the next patch will be out I will use the latest version of 4UC (should be the last patch before the integration of 4UC modmod to the main VP mod).
 
Hi, I played several games with the modpack and it is amazing, thanks for maintaining it.

Unfortunately, I've had a bug with my save that I've found on github [link] and is fixed with a later version of the community patch, but when I try to upgrade the modpack from 4.15.2 to 4.16.0, it makes loading my save crash to desktop. Is it expected that saves are not compatible between versions? Any idea how I can stick to 4.15.2 while still having just the bugfix for community patch?
 
Are there any issues with installing this multiplayer modpack and then playing single player through the single player menu, rather than installing mods the usual way and using the mod menu? Is the game equally as stable this way? I've just had a single player game CTD on turn 161 so I have submitted it on the GitHub.

Should be as stable. I will delete the bigmodpack from the main post as you have issue with it. Maybe a modmod is in cause. I am sorry if it's my modpack the problem and not VP it self :/
