VoxPopuli Modpacks (Update: 4.16.1)

Keep your save before reinstalling everything. Or normally your mate should have it.
Seems like steam was messing with me and was launching the game in DX9 instead of DX10, so that was the main problem. Works now just fine, but it took a while to figure out..
So thanks for the help.

I am planning on trying the new versions in the future, how much have they been tested in MP?
(Talking about the ones in Stablest Multiplayer subfolder on Google Drive)

Well we shall wait for the current patch to be stable and see how it goes as it has some MP improvements :)

Beside VP+supersettler+3/4 UC+EUI, are there any other Agiwan-pick mods that create refreshing experience for Civ 5?

Well I have the one witha part of @hokath modmod but that it's. I am doing modpacks to use it in multiplayer, and most modmods are not compatible with multiplayer:/

Hello,
I am waiting a stable version to update my modpacks if you wonder why we still use version 4.16 here !
Any ETA? Currently using the 4.16.1_VP-SSEM-EUI.zip version with friends and having some serious instability in the mid-late game. I don't want to go crazy debugging it if a new version with possibly new/different issues will be out soon lol!

Multiplayer isn't really stable and needs debbuging sadly, any bug reports on GitHub can help. I am waiting for a new non-beta version.

Be aware that VP Beta 4.17.8 isn't multiplayer compatible. Playing a lan multiplayer game with AI results with an instant Crash To Desktop.

It's not just multiplayer suffering from stability, the recent updates are in preparation for finally releasing the 4UC integration version. But because of how big it is and how much code is being changed/cleaned/added a lot of things are breaking, especially when adding more mods/additional players. 4.16.1 is going to be the only stable version of the game for quite a while

It is interesting, that the version 4.16.1 is more stable as you say. In my experience with Multiplayer modpacking we managed to get 4.16.2 to be stable enough. Just turn off yield icons to avoid CTD's and everything is butter-smooth. When I tried to MPMP the 4.16.1, we got no City-States and no resources on any type of maps. We then returned to my previous working brew 4.15.2. But when 4.16.2 rolled out and I MPMP'ed it, it was stable ever since. Of course, any 4.17~ would not work, so we are stuck with 4.16.2 for some time now.

4.16.1 and 4.16.2 are exactly the same version, the only change between them is the "AssignStartingPlots.lua" file. I replaced this file with the one from version 4.15.2 on all my 4.16.1 modpacks because the 4.16.1 one is broken. This file does only interact with multiplayer when the map is generated.

So normally there is no change at all between my Vp Only 4.16.1 modpacks and your Vp only 4.16.2 modpack.

Ok, I get it. Thank you for your service and your work!

My suggestion would be to add a brief explanation on why you should clear cache before launching every time to the OP. Since it only causes issues much later, and seemingly only in MP, the average player probably decides it doesn't matter.

Awesome!

Does this pack include all things in https://forums.civfanatics.com/members/hokath.250454/#resources ?
I can't find sage in my civiopedia wiki after installed.

I notice that the pack doesn't have EUI that I love. Is hokath's mod incompatible with EUI? Is the AI good like in most of your packs?
Hi,

Not everything, I only added what I liked the most and It's now an old version of the modmod so some things probably changed since then ^^'
