'Voyage of the Mayflower' - steam achievement bugged

Founding Neapolis just awarded me with said steam-achievement. I have not reached another continent yet.

Can you post a shot with the Continents Lens turned on to verify that you did not reach a different continent? Continents can share a land border.

Yes, don't confuse "continent" with "land mass." Just as we commonly regard Europe and Asia as separate continents, they are a single landmass. In game, the land mass you spawned on may consist of two or more "continents" -- turn on the Continent lens (hotkey 2) to toggle that display on and off.

You're absolutely right, it's two continents on one landmass. A bit confusing, but now I know about a new feature =)

Suggests to me that they need to change the achievement to settling on a new landmass, rather than continent .

Why change an achievement that >90% early birds already have? For myself not being smeone to read tutorials (playing since civ on my 386) the difference between continents and landmass would have not been obvious to me.
