want to make mods for civ6, what shall I begin with?

I've never done any mod making before, and I want to do it for civ 6, could anyone enlighten me, where shall i start?

There isn't a lot of information out ATM for modding and civ 6 doesn't have workshop support yet but the best place to start is likely the modding and customization forum for civ 6.
