Even during wars, the parties mostly rescued sailors of sunken ships. It seems that modern Europeans have become more ‘civilised’ than their ancestors^Not enough western parts probably.
Russian ships continue sinking randomly around the world. Last one sank in front of the Spanish Mediterranean coast and was property of the Russian government, it supposedly carried key components for nuclear icebreakers. Spanish rescue services had to waste time and taxpayer money rescuing the inepts aboard. Some are missing.

Coincidence, Ukrainian SBU actions or plain incompetence?
To be fair, not all of them are scumbags, just vocal minority. It seems that modern Europeans have become more ‘civilised’ than their ancestors
She flattened me with scienceJust you wait, sanctions will revitalize Russia's domestic industries! /s
EDIT: Meanwhile:
Because they know flying is pretty safe there. Neither Ukraine nor any other European country will shoot the aircraft down in the area. Only Russia can.a question I've been wondering since some time: why is Russia still allowing civilian flights over its western territory?
that would be stupid, no one claims Ukraine can protect it's airspace with western weapons, and they are not allowing civilian flights since the beginning of the war anyway.if that happens , this or someother thread will be all about how Russia can't protect its airspace and it is already defeated . Nice denial by the way .
Russia is obviously not willing to shut down air traffic over their country every time there is a drone threat because it hurts their economy and image. Especially when it's exactly their goal to hurt Ukraine and therefore to make sure Ukraine keeps its airspace closed as long as possible, not them.I mean, there are drones flying there, that they need to shoot down, and civilian traffic above, seems unsafe wherever you are in the world.
It'd be hard to argue that Finland and the US would stop civilian flights at the same status of threat. Likewise here.
