I'm curious, how long does it take for war weariness to start degrading once a peace treaty has been signed?
In my last game as France, Gandhi declared war on me and I decided it was a good time to take him down a few notches since he had the tech lead. I capture two cities and make peace. All told, we're at war for maybe 20 turns and I suffer no losses. War weariness had spiraled out of control and was at -7 in Paris, with partisans starting to spawn. After nearly 20 turns of peace, war weariness is still at -7 in Paris. My on again off again relationship with Buenos Aires is all that's keeping me at of the revolt zone, but the second I lose suzerain status, the partisans start spawning again. I check to make sure that I'm not at war with anyone else and I'm not.
What is the decay rate on war weariness supposed to be? Is this a bug or is the decay just obscenely long?
