    Great plan. I know it hasn't been successful so far, but what do you think about using that chat room so we can all follow along and play "armchair general"? Only if that works for you and bistrita of course, and obviously 2Metra and bistrita make all final decisions, this wouldn't be a vote or anything. But it would be fun to follow along.

    As a kid I used to stay awake up to late to watch CNN and the war emissions live from the Gulf wars. :)

    Just a couple brief updates. The Spaniards popped into the turn for a brief 4 minutes without ending turn. They did not perform any whips, but maybe they will when they actually play their turn. They got a 7 point increase this turn which is consistent with three pop growths, meaning they probably didn't finish a tech this turn (all good news for us).

    These updates probably don't belong in this thread, but Poly has performed a number of large whips this turn and UCiv has done some smaller ones.

    So, Spaniards are indeed logging already 2 times for some 4-5 minutes and not ending turn. I was anxious too to see if they ended turn and to look at what they did this morning. Alas, we need to wait some more.

    Not only they did not whipped, but they are not even ready to whip units I think. You know, you must have invested some hammers to whip effectively. I think we caught them totally unprepared.
    According to the powergraph (if I read it correct), they did not produced any unit in the beginning of this turn too.

    They were spending money last turn, obviously teching something. But hey had no HBR as of last turn. Bistrita made the wide guess/wish they were teching Civil Services actually. Makes some sense in line with their current economical reforms.

    From the APT mod site it seems that the Spaniards did what we were afraid most, i.e. withrawing without giving us decisive battle. Without even recapturing their exposed worker in the South. Hopefully we will be able to catch their retreating armies at some point. But lately with so many mixed RB/SPAp log ins I think that the RB military consultants are already in charge of the zulu army or at least they are the masterminds of their last-stand defense. Which is problem for us of course.

    Bistrita logged in and just as expected, Spaniards had ran for the hills. They are standing on the Gold hill right now and the city was empty for us to take. So far, so good. Two turns, two cities. On the Spaniards side - no whips, no nothing until now. Another of my favorite movie scenes comes to my mind - the storm troopers chasing Han Solo and actually looking expecting BEHIND him. :) So I am watching in French direction more than the Spaniards themselves.

    Well as expecetd the courageous zulu flee away.Firts i belived was realy abad thing but actualy this is not a bad situation for us because we have FW and enginering.

    So we can play shess with them and still getting some of theyr cities.

    Actualy next turn if we can hit theyr capitol with some knigs and chariots.
