Hi guys! I wasn't here for a long time because I had memory problems with huge maps(I hate that problem)! I'm the big fan of Civilization's game and I'm sad because I'm not playing Civ 4. Is there any good news with this expansion? Does this expansion fix the problem or it's same like before?THANX

Not really. The engine is about exactly the same as vanilla + patch 1.61. Still get "memory allocation" errors when quiting and loading a game on a huge map and other issues with large maps.

Huge maps eat memory. There is so much info for the game to keep hold of that it's always going to happen. Civ 3 had a similar problem (however the waiting was condensed into the inter-turn).

    ... and - wrong forum!

I read this on firaxis official site:

Out of Video Memory Error (1.61 patch)

If you are getting a video memory allocation warning, you should try reducing the graphics level (in the options menu) to low. If it still occurs and you want to ignore the warning, find this value in the config (ini) file, HideOutOfVRamWarning, and set HideOutOfVRamWarning = 1 using notepad.

    Does someone try this?

Nope, but it shouldn't be video memory. The errors I receive refer to memory, so I am guessing it is a problem with the engine caching too much to physical main memory or swap(of course this is a guess from my non-programmer perspective). Anyways my video card has 256 vram, so should be plenty to spare with a game like this.
