Warlords not found- unable to install mod.

I AM NOT CRAZY.
I can play Warlords, but Gold 2.1 doesnt think I have warlords installed.
WTH?
I bought Civ4 Gold yesterday. It has Civ4 AND WARLORDS.
Why cant I damn install this?

I only bought Civ4 because of Total Realism.
Why doesnt it work? I stuck it in
C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Gold
Doesnt do ANYTHING.

This may be a problem with reg keys. Civ4 Gold has differant registry keys i think. If you can provide us with them we may be of help solving the problem.

Do you have 2.08 patch for Warlords ? <- this one is required for 2.1

You have patch 2.13 - it is not yet supported by TR mod. Only the upcoming version will support it, the current one runs on 2.08.

Civ4 Gold - you mean you bouht a package with Civ4, Warlords and BtS ? If yes, than installing BtS automaticly updates Civ4 and Warlords to 1.72 and 2.1.3

I dont know if there is anyway to "fix" this... try and download 2.08 and install it. It can help (if game will allow you to install older version over newer)

I bought Civ4 with vanilla and warlords... no BtS.
I dont THINK I got BtS since Gamestop said that BtS is coming soon... I didnt know that BtS was released. Guess I'll have to wait

Edit: ahhh. The back of my manual says that BtS is available now. Why didnt they include it in Civ4 Gold?? Greedy B*******

Gamestop and all of those bastard internet shops. They want to "save" you the problem of finding and istalling new patches, so they release allready patched games. I heared many such reports, you are not the 1st and not the last.

You need to some how get it back to 2.08. Getting and installing 2.08 patch may help as i said above. If not, there are reports that putting 2.08 exe on to 2.1.3 build changes the game back to 2.08 (and makes it TR 2.1 compatibile)

You can also wait for 2.2 releasem but i dont think it will be ready before 11th August

11th august doesnt matter. Going on vacation in a few days and not coming back till like Sep.
Hope 2.2 doesnt require BtS. I'm lo on $$ and cant get it yet.

It will not. And will be compatibile with bot 2.0.8 and 2.1.3 builds of Warlords.

OK, since I always need big white paper and crayons to get something explained to me....

I just bought Warlords, and patched it to 2.13 - I cannot play the TR MOD because it is looking for the 2.0.8 exe, correct? Therefore, I must roll back my exe to the 2.0.8 exe in order to install the mod.

Is that a good summary of where I am at?

Currently, you are in a better situation. You just have to wait several hours until we upload version 2.2 (already in process) - it works fine with 2.13 patch. So, just keep your eyes open - most likely it'll be up in the next 12 hours, maybe quicker.

I have 2.1.3 Warlords Gold and 2.2 installed of TR. But when I load the scenario or any other single player game, none of the in-game menus are visible (such as the mini-map, gold, advisors, unit options, etc)

Thats the third report of Civ4 Gold issue with TR.
1st report was solved by reinstalling.
2nd havent recived an answear from thet guy yet.

It is possible that the problem lies in Civ4 Gold version.
regkey may give us some light on this.

I'm in the same boat man. I got Gold and it has Warlords 2.13. I'm pissed! I wanted to play Rhye's 24 civs, but can't. Game crashes all the time due to not being 2.08. All I wanted was a large Earth, many civs and total blood shed. Now I can't get that!
