What if history had played otherwise? What if, those nations that are considered "great" would all have failed?

This scenario uses those 18 civs out of the Visa choice, that didn't fare to well in reality. Now their chance has arisen, to prove that they can also conquer earth.

All 18 civs are placed at approximately their real world positions, though I tried to spread them a bit. All except the celts and tibetans have been given access to the ocean. Expanded city radius is enabled, so choose your settling places carefully. Based on Rhyes earth map.

Thoughts/suggestions are highly welcome.

Very Good Scenario idea. I downloaded it, and began playing. When I got to BC 1950ish my game just stopped, and I got the Microsoft Error Message. Is this me, or the Scenario, because I've tryed it more than once and the same thing happens.

Well, I just played till 1356 BC and everything was smothe.

Well, I have all the patches, and I can't think of any other possible problems. And it's only with this scenario, I haven't ever had any ViSa problems...

Try to download the updated version in the first post. I made several mistakes in the first version, maybe this caused your troubles.

Why does the "recent civ" like France, Canada, USA arn't there?

Because this is a map featuring the "loosers of history". And if I'd call a modern nation a looser by adding it to this map, I'd get too much protests from "true patriots (TM)".

So while I surely have an opinion which modern civs will soon be worth a place in such a mod, it can't be done until history showed the truth of my "divination".

PS: To all Scots, Aborigines, Cherokee and so on that feel compelled to dig out their "true patriot (TM)" badge: this mod tries to give your great civs the chance to achieve the glory that was denied so cruelly to them by history (or more precise often the English Empire).

PPS: If the wish exists I might add Elizabeth as a punching ball for your patriotic feelings. Though then I'd have to leave out one "looser nation". Hmm, who of those 18 was doing best historically?
