Warlords, yet another vassal bug

Just noticed this one. Apparently the game allows you to ask an AI to make peace with someone's vassal even if the master civ won't make peace with them. Let me explain with an example:

Bismark is the master of Isabella. Both civs are at war with Tokugawa. As seen in the picture of Tokugawa's diplomacy screen, I can ask him to make peace with Isabella, even though the option to make peace with the master civ, Bismark is red ("We'd love to but you'll have to talk to them..."). Since the master controls all diplomatic relations, I would think this is a bug.

I don't think it will let me upload Warlords saves yet. I keep getting an "Invalid File" message when I try to upload.

I tested it and had Toku make peace with Isabella and what happened was the next turn she renounced her vassal status. I'm not sure if that was because she made peace with someone or if it would have happened anyway because I just razed one of her last cities.

Try the "Quick Links/upload file".

I've had the same thing. Qin was at war with Montezuma and his vassal Stalin, and i was able to bribe Qin to make peace with Stalin only.

The picture shows you Qin at war with Monte and in peace with his vassal Stalin. No save.

Just amused me that I had the reverse happen too me.. I'm playing as Ramesses and the Germans had just vassalised the French. Then they asked me too declare war on their own vassal. I didn't realise at first that the French were their vassals and declared war. Then I saw that I was also at war with the Germans.. Really didn't want that too happen so I reloaded and took a screeny.. Enjoy. :) :)

This is a bug that Firaxis has said will be fixed in a patch.

I've noticed another version of this. Recently I played a Pangea map standard map with 7 opponents aggressive AI raging barbs. Many wars occurred obviuosly and towards the end of the game after wiping out the Koreans and making the French my vassal the world was left in three groups of Master-Vassal Me and Louis, Bismark and Monty, Huyana and Mansa. I decided to stir things up by getting Bismark who was my friend to attack Huyana, which instantly started a mini world war(I stayed out of it;) ) After about 15 turns they made peace with each other, which kind of ticked me off, I decided to open the diplo screen with Bismark to see what else I could do to stir things up, when i noticed that I could get Bismark to declare on Mansa(Huyanas vassal) which meant world war II. This is sort of an exploit as there should have been the standard 10 turn cool down on the Peace treaty.
Is this a bug too.

This can also lead to a nice exploit for those cases when:
1. you want to stir a war between two powerful AI that would fight each other otherwise
2. you want the AI to declare war against you (decreased war weariness and your mutual defence buddies enter the war at your side)
