This is without a doubt the worst mouse I ever bought in my life. My old mouse conked out on me and I wanted to get the Logitech Trackball (Trackman? I forget, but its the one with the ball on top and you move it with your thumb) but the only thing they had that was similar was this piece of garbage. Its almost unusable. Since there are no little rollers in it (its optical) the ball has to scrape around in its cradle, and it isnt very smooth at all. Its also constantly gummy and you have to keep popping it out of the cradle to wipe it down, but then in a few minutes its gummy again. Now I know why it only cost $30.00. Buy any mouse but this one, its terrible.

Youre lucky, I havent had much luck with mice. The best and longest lasting one I ever had was the Logitech one I mentioned, but I dont see it around in the stores these days. Most of the models with the ball on top inexplicably put it in the middle, instead of on the side so you can move it with your thumb. I cant believe Im going to have to go out and buy another one.

I have found that Microsoft mice tend to be very high quality - same with their keyboards. I guess every company can have bad products (just talking hardware here).

Now I have a regular Microsoft Optical Wireless and I love it it's so more responsive than my old one.
