Way to add a quest through worldbuilder?

In my current game I got the quest to build a bunch of chariots...

Being Egypt, this was fortuitous.

So I built a bunch of chariots... went to check on the quest requirement, and found I had no quest.

Not sure how I lost it, but regardless, I was wondering if it were possible to add it back in with world builder. I checked and couldn't find anything - I think I'm out of luck, but figured I'd pop in here to make sure there wasn't something I could do =)

1. someone beat you to it

2. it went pass a certain era.

Is it possible to not accept a quest?

You're probably right, I probably got iron working and killed the quest (which is just ridiculous). Nonetheless, I don't remember seeing a failure message, and the quest log was just blank.

ya my least favorite quest is getting the build 11 stables in a cultural game...
cause i dont ussually have more then 9 citys in cultural games

Hey, we're not talking about quests we like and hate. Read.

Anyway, the failure message does tend to blend in with other alerts, so it could be possible that you did get the message but you glazed over it while reading an onslaught of other messages for that turn.

You could sift through the vast numbers of notices in the log. Now if only it had a ctrl+f function...

No, you never get a failure message. That's one of the weaknesses of the system. Personally I think the whole quest thing is broken, I've turned off most of them in my game.

PS: Well no wonder I've never seen a failure message, I rarely read the alerts that get displayed. I would expect a pop-up like the original quest notice.
