I happens to me some time ago, but wasn't much important.

this time, after a at least five hour intensive work with a scenario, the file crashes and can't load anymore, by any means.

The unique solution is (apart of understand why you can make the WBS crash) save multiple files and load the files constantly.

There is some way to fix the WBS via editing the text?

What kind of things crashes the WBS?

Most times a save will crash, when something is on the map, which you've already removed in your mod.

But can't be the reason in that case.
And you can open the worldbuilder file with a text editor, no problem.
Most entries should be self explanatory.

Is possible that the cause could be putting a UB of a civilization that doesn't exist in the mod in another Civ city?

Or having in the map UU of civilization that doesn't exist in the mod?

    Thanks again, The_J

...if i understand you right, then not.

It's no problem to go into the worldbuilder, and put a Baray into an incan city, that will do nothing.
But when you save that game, go to the XML, and then remove the Baray, the worldbuilderfile will crash.
But like said, that shouldn't be the problem here.

And i really suggest looking at the file with the texteditor.
Maybe the end of the file is somehow messed up/not correct -> will also lead to a crash.

Like i've said: Look at the end of the file.
Something screwed up the signs you've place with the worldbuilder.

Remove all after ### Sign Info ###, and num signs written=21 at the beginning and then, i guess, the map should load.

What is exactly the way of remove the things you say?

I need an example, of if you could reupload the file with the changes...

I have to delete the things after the SECOND ### Sign Info ### or the FIRST? I need to left the two ###sign info###lines? anyone?

and the num signs written=21, I have to delete the line, o wrote 0?

I make some combinations, and sometimes the scenario loads a bit and crash, sometime don't load at all and freezes, and a lot of times I have to Reset the computer. If you can be more specific or edit yourself the file and tellme the exact changes, I will thankyou a lot!

Okay, i have no real idea, how to work with maps, i only compare it to my working ones.
I even don't get it working, sorry :(.

For the signs: All, what belongs to them, have to go at the end of the file.
If you do not have any signs, the number has to be 0, and at the end has to be the line ### Sign Info ###.

Damm, I found lots of errors (And I didn't make them xD)

Duplicated series of plots, duplicated Sing info lines, included one "Endplot," followed for another "endplot".

I pollute al txt, but finally the wbs still don't working.

I suppose at last, I have going to redone al job, and make a lot of Secutiry Backups :(

    One thing.

If in the map I already have, I don't know, 10 signs (putted via World Editor), and I delete all the info of the sings in the TXT (sign num = 0, and delete de lines after ### Sing Info ###, the wbs will crash?

No, if you delete ### Sing Info ### itself, the Worldbuilder will crash.

For the map: That's sad. completly redoing already done work is annoying.

BtW, i couldn't clearly see it, but i hope, you use this map as base.
