I was updating it, forgot the Cobra. How bout now? I can see it...
Ups, I put the red dot icon with the cobra, but the unit exists... funny how it turned out like a little heart.
I`ll edit it tomorrow, when I`ll also put in it the links to all the units.

Yes i can see it now. before it was a little white square with a red cross... you know the one. looks cool.
i got a move on and am almost completely finished removing the hand prints from all the shields on the uruk-hai sword attack animation.
i'm not sure whether i can put the chaos symbol on the shield, since it is moving during the attack, i would have to apply it frame by frame and at all sorts of angles, but i will try.

Woohoo! You`re simply the best! If the chaos symbol is a no-go, they will still be awesome units! Oh, and that symbol on the loin cloth is just for show, don`t bother with it. Unless its easier than the shield? Nevermind, no symbol at all is still very cool, when you do the recoloring and the helmet.... I think that one is going to be my personall fav! Thanks again!

the loin cloth would be easier because it stays upright the whole time, but it is very small so it probably isn't worth it.

Than don`t bother with it, just make him one black, armored, horn-helmeted killing machine! He doesn`t really need the symbol to be recognized 
Plus, without the mod- specific markings he will be better for usage in other mods. BTW.. where are his civcolor-markings going to be? Maybe the loin cloth?
P.S.:What do you think of the Hung version?

I like the hung version a lot. the fact that he's so sure of himself that he doesn't think he needs a helmet would be frightening!
what do you think of the three chaos civs starting with a locked alliance? this would probably make them too powerful, though... and i suppose they fight amongst themselves quite a bit in the WH world, right?
oh well, just a thought...
i hadn't actually considered civ-colouring... i suppose the loin cloth could work. does civ-colouring reallt matter that much? i don't really mind, but i guess others would.

I don`t mind either... how bout when you have enough material you post a preview and add a poll for the civ-colouring- yes or no.
The Hung doesn`t have legg armor neither, those are pants, just some upper-body armor -breastplate, pauldrons, gauntlests. I did it that way cause they do not prefer fighting on foot, and its hard enough for them to move without the damn greaves!

I didn`t give him a helmet, cause I want him to have that pony-tail, and I just couldn`t draw one that looked any good, so I just gave him the head of a unit that upgrades to him

i'm having trouble finding horns to put on the kurgan version, because the uruk-hai is man sized and the dwarves are... well, dwarf-sized! so the horns are too small.
should i or shouldn't i put horns on him?
on another note, a jungle swarm shouldn't be too hard, since it is just sticking a couple of snakes together. that is simple Cut'n'Paste, that is!

Maybe in a month or so, when my RL cools down a bit. What would I need to become a C`n`P apprentice?
Please, the horns are what makes him what he is! I`ll snoop around for them, can`t you resize the dwarf ones? What about those that are on ED`s Black orc infantry? Check the pic above, the on in the gobbos section. He is about human size. Or even aaglo`s orcs! Those are big horns! We need big horns

cut n paste is fairly easy to learn. aaglo, orthanc and others use povray, which is a text based animation program.

Nope, just plain old paint... But I have Gimp... I dl-ed it cause of the unit32 files..
Do I need the Paint shop pro? What for? Is there a C`n`P tutorial (I`m too lazy to search for it)

you don't need paint shop pro, that's just what i use. if you can use gimp to edit unit32 files then you should be able to use it to edit storyboards.
you need a program like this because Flicster exports the animation of a unit, such as the attack animation, as a .pcx file. this file is opened in paint shop pro (in my case) and then each frame is edited one by one.
in flicster, the storyboard can be viewed, so when you save the .pcx file, you can see the changes in flicster. when you have finished editing the .pcx file you can export the storyboard through flicster to make a new flic file, that can then be used in Civ.
that's just a brief explaination. if you are serious about making units this way, i will explain in depth later.

I think this way is the only way for me, I`m not that good with the computer, plus I don`t have $ to buy programs like Pov-Ray. I`ll DL the Flicster tonight and check it out.

...just an idea... do we really need both Kurgans and Hung? Why not just make one civ, the Mortals of chaos? Give them horse-archers, AND strong foot units, some warhounds, a lesser daemon, a beastman or two... Wouldn`t that be easier? And don`t forget the more civs we add (Skaven, BP, OK, now two Chaos civs) the more of that $%#$&& color problem appears! I don`t want to play another pink civ!
The new, updated compilation is gonna be atleast 3 times better! It just takes a lot of time...

The new compilation is kinda hard to do, I want to include detailed explanation for the suggestions, and it`s a lot of text, I`ve been doing it for 2 hours and I`m not even finished with the first one! I write, I re-write, I make pictures, I change them... Very time consuming... sounds like C`n` P
