What modern DLC civilizations would you like to see in an expansion? Votes are unlimited. If the civilization you want isn't listed, then you can suggest it below, since I can't add more than thirty.

I think we can imagin some Civs from same history but different Age (like Silla Korea and Sasanian Persia) so I would preper more generic option name.

Oh, I noticed this is the poll about Modern Civs.

I'd like to suggest Argentina. :)

Suggestions: Omani, Durrani, Nepal, Madagascar and Mapuche.

Honestly other than Britain, a Middle East and another African civ. I'm really happy with our current modern roster, I think I'm legit interested in playing every single civ we have game guides for so far in the modern era. Even France (mainly Napoleon) and Qing who I thought I'd have no interest in look exciting.

That being said could definitely do with both a North and South native American civ to attempt to avoid the colonialism. That along with Middle East would be my priority if I was them.

Switzerland belongs here :) and we need the PLC. I agree that Nepal, Oman, and Madagascar would be nice here as well. Potentially, the Mamluks or Oirats could be an option as ~30 addition.
Otherwise: almost all of them.

While I didn’t vote for them, I’d love to see the Apache, Cherokee, Comanche, Sioux, and more Amerindian civs all eventually added to the game, albeit none in the Modern Age. They belong in the Age of Exploration. All of these tribes find their continuation through America in the Modern Age, and it would not make any sense to have them as separate nations contemporary to the United States.

All of these tribes were first discovered during the Age of Exploration, and the technology portrayed in that Age in the game is more on par with the technological advancements displayed by such tribes prior to their incorporation into America. It’d be strange in this version of Civ to see Cherokee commanders riding in Jeeps and Comanche helicopters flying around, however ironic that might be.

I added them here in order to have some Native American representation in the Modern Age. I also speculate that a Native American mounted unit with hatchets and rifles would look fitting here. Bear in mind that early modern units look colonial and as America you will never have your re-enacted historical conflict with some of these civilizations. Despite this, I share your sentiment. I believe the Impi will look out of place in the Modern Age, so I added the Zulu in the Exploration Age too, but if they are there you will never fight the British in the Modern Age, which is troubling.

I voted for Britain, and Austria. I don't really have a wishlist for Modern, it's the era I'm least interested in. I would prefer the Netherlands and Ottomans in Exploration.

Generally, I'm open to anything the game offers to me in Modern as long as the bonuses are appealing. Native American options appeal to me more than colonial options, if possible.

Overall, Britain is the only crucial omission for me. Once they're added, Firaxis can do whatever it wants for all I care.

Switzerland as discus beforehand

Then Austria or Italy, but only if they're opera-themed. They must have an Opera as a unique building, and they should be cultural-diplomatic civs that use the power or music to sway, gather and incorporate independent powers or other cities. Anything but they would be a travesty and make the game literally unplayable.

Well, I voted for the British, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Ottomans, Safavids, Joseon Korea, Māori, Morocco, Ethiopia, Ashanti, Zulu, Brazil, Argentina, and Polish Republic (PLC). :)

I agree about Austria. I'm not sue about Italy, at least Modern Italy, considering I feel that would be more appropriate for one of the Exploration Age civs from there, like a Florence/Tuscan civ.

I'm not much of a fan of adding civilizations left and right:

Austrian Empire
Sweden
Dutch Empire
Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth

Ottoman Empire
Safavid or Qajar Empire

Vietnam
Australia

Morocco
Ethiopian
Zulu

Canada
Brazil
Gran Colombia
(Any North American Tribe is fine by me)
