What are the worst TV Shows? And Why?

I'll start with my list:

NCIS- fake, bad acting, unoriginal

House- extremely fake, Dr. House character is over-the-top, boring

CSI- If the mysteries and investigations were interesting enough they'd be made into movies instead.

Law and Order- If I was really that interested in monotonous courtroom settings, I'd commit a felony, or become an actual lawyer rather than watch fake actors and actresses and poor acting attempts at portraying hoodrats, seasoned criminals, drug addicts, murders

Grey's Anatomy- I'm not gay, sorry Grey, the medical/sexual reference isn't very clever either btw.

Bones- Bones are for dogs.

ER- Another show with a monotonous setting. Note to show creators: think this through next time you think you have a genius idea for a show.

George Lopez's show- unfunny material and an obvious token latino show

JAG- Again, monotonous settings, situations only military people can consistently relate to, boring plots

American Dad- Seth can do much better. The humor is really poor and the characters are supposed to be funny more so because of their stereotypical portrayals of certain types of people, less so on what they say. Just doesn't cut it.

Sex In The City- SJP isn't hot, the material sounds like it came straight from Cosmopolitan, and Unless you're a sexually desperate woman or gay, it is impossible to relate.

Psych- Not funny, not interesting, characters are boring. Not much else to say here.

Monk- See Psych

My Name Is Earl- Weird things happen. No "LOL" moments. If you think weird, quarky, regional humor is funny, then this may be your show. Be prepared to not laugh though.

In addition to the ones listed...

Little People, Big World -- They're midgets. So what? This show has been on for six seasons and over 200 episodes. It also doesn't help that their kid looks like the Xbox 360 kid.

Survivor -- Anything that isn't "Survivor: Baghdad" or "Survivor: Pyongyang" does not capture my interest. How many times can you put a bunch of whiny idiots on a CBS backlot and expect people to tune in? Unfortunately, about 100,000 times.

Big Brother -- Same crap, different stink.

Two and a Half Men -- Not funny, unoriginal premise, lousy actors.

American Idol -- Tired. Adding Scrappy Doo couldn't save this stinker.

HOUSE AND MONK!?!?!?!? And Two and a Half Men??!?!?!? HOW COULD THEY BE BAD???!!! JK guys!

Anything on HGTV.

Jersey shores.

Anything on Nick besides Spongebob.

I personally find it hilarious, with plenty of "LOL" moments. I have a pretty weird sense of humor though. That being said, I rarely find Mad TV orTwo and a Half Men very funny, and all of the reality shows mentioned thus far bore me as well. Family Guy has pretty much lost whatever it had.

I like Law & Order sometimes. I think the grandmother is the only thing that saves the George Lopez Show. Bones is OK sometimes. Is ER even on anymore. American Dad normally isn't funny but last episode I saw the alien said, "I'm just sitting here licking my finger and flicking the bean --- pause for a couple seconds --- the new LL bean catalog" and I laughed for awhile.

House was kinda cool for awhile but I'm sick of it.

I can't believe Little People Big World has been on for that long. Other than being midgets their lives are completely unremarkable. Interesting for 2 seasons max.

I'm a homo and I always thought sex and the city was sheite. Wow we're so liberated cause we sleaze around like we're men and drink nasty looking cocktails. Who cares? I was dragged to their 2nd movie by an ex. Yes, homos are dragged to chick flicks too by the more effiminate among us, unfortunately. At least I got out of Eat, Pray, Love.

I never saw or heard of Psych.

What shows would you say are good? I liked Hoarders but they gotta drag out the freakiest people by now or it's just going to get boring. An attic full of dead cats was cool but they gotta top that at some point.

I think we can't really say all of those were bad at the first.

Most of those were great tv shows.

What I think is almost all tv shows with more than 4~5 seasons will turn out to be horrible.

The first hint of this would be repeating themes or plots, more blood and violence. And then, when finally ideas are depleted, suddenly the characters will change, the whole consistency of the show will be turned over etc etc.

dunno. I will often watch an episode of a series that comes recommended. then, if I think it is really bad I will not watch it again. couldn't really comment on the worst shows as usually (2 1/2 men is an exception to this as it is on a popular timeslot over here just before a show I like so it might be on in the background and I do sort of revel in its badness a bit) as I will never have watched enough shows to actually make an informed decision.

anythingCSI - never finished a show

sex in the city/housewives - makes me want to tear my eyes out but I can't comment because I only ever saw a total of maybe 10 minutes of all of their episodes combined. worst thing they did is made me reluctant to tune into Cougar Town in the beginning. horrible name that show has.

anything with a laugh track that isn't Friends

forensic/medical/legal/whodunnit drama unless they have H. Laurie, O. Wilde, and/or N. Fillion in them.

I might be getting close to that age where I will only watch golf and WWII documentaries on the telly I am afraid.

I think Two and a Half Men is the worst sitcom on.

The worst show is probably some stupid MTV thing or one of those asinine VH1 countdowns.

Two and a Half Men is better than 90% of sitcoms on US network tv. But that's really not saying much. :p

American Idol, So You Think You can Dane, John and Kate Plus Eight, and their ilk.

I would have disagree one some points. CSI and CSI: NY are okay, although CSI: Miami is extremely ******** (CSI: NY might have slipped as well, but I don't really check in that often any more).

American Dad is easily the best of MacFarlane's show, having dropped most of its political trappings for bizarreness and weirdness. The Cleveland Show is much, much worse, from what little I have seen of it.

Having said that, I argee that Two and a Half Men, George Lopez's sitcom and Bones are terrible.

I think that the only show of those listed that I've watched more than once was CSI. I find that I don't have the desire to keep track of TV shows anymore.

Can't believe I forgot Jersey Shore. I tried watching it once to see what the buzz was about. They're losers, plain and simple. There is nothing exciting worth watching about their lives. They aren't funny. Nothing worth imitating even in a mocking "haha look im doing what The Situation does hehehehe" context.

Stop giving these people undeserved fame and money by watching their show. Every time you watch an episode and do a ******** fist pump or whatever at the so incredibly hip club or party you're at, these people get more money. Put an end to it, force them to get a real job, and get some standards for your entertainment.

Maybe I'm weird for liking Two and a Half Men then haha.

But I agree Family Guy has gone down hill fast in the last season or so.
