What are the worst TV Shows?

Maybe I'm weird for liking Two and a Half Men then haha.

But I agree Family Guy has gone down hill fast in the last season or so.

Fwiw, my Earl love could be rooted in the fact that most of my family is from rural Kentucky.

Well, 1. How I Met your Mother is the only other one I can routinely stand. But I don't get cable channels, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Other than that, I just can't take any sitcom.
What about Community, The Office, The Middle, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock? Surely one of those tickles your funny bone above Two and a Half Man.

House was good for a while, but now it's getting old almost to the point of being unwatchable.. Which season is it in now? Season 7, ah, right in the downward spiral...

:nope: Not an original joke in a one of them.

Two and a Half Men is a terrible show. On top of that, it is completely unoriginal. Oh hey look, Charlie Sheen is a misogynist and the main characters make alot of sexual jokes! HILARIOUS!

I actually just remembered the real worst show on television. The Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt. It's so bad I thought it was a parody when I saw the first episode. I'd go as far as to say only brain dead idiots could like this show but my own mother watches it.

I think we can't really say all of those were bad at the first.

Most of those were great tv shows.

What I think is almost all tv shows with more than 4~5 seasons will turn out to be horrible.

The first hint of this would be repeating themes or plots, more blood and violence. And then, when finally ideas are depleted, suddenly the characters will change, the whole consistency of the show will be turned over etc etc.

The sure sign a show is over is when the couple you've been waiting for finally becomes a couple.

I haven't seen NCIS this past season but it was always good before. Ziva is fist of an angry God hot, and Abby is freaky but attractive.

And Bones has four smokin' hot actresses right now which makes it worth watching even if it's a mediocre episode.

I really like Community and Parks and Recreation - two of the best US sitcoms today. The Office is alright, but shows signs of ageing. Everybody seems to love Modern Family, which to me seems too dry to really enjoy. The Big Bang Theory is much better than Two and a Half Men (it from the same producer), but it still carried on the shoulders of one of the actors (Jim Parsons) -- there's nothing special about it. The Middle seems middling, and I've not seen much of 30 Rock.

Also, somebody mentioned How I Meet Your Mother, another okayish show, although I can't really stand Lily and Marshall's love-dovey relationship, or the

Typical Two and a Half Men fan: "That was a good episode. The best part is when the brother fails at something, and the son did something stupid, and Charlie Sheen got the girl in bed while being a drunken prick.

Now excuse me, I'm going to down to the basement to do some ... stuff. Yeah ... stuff."

I have a feeling, based on what little a saw of both shows, that Medium was even worse. Also, I find Jennifer Love Hewitt a bit odd. I find her both off-putting and attractive at the same time. On the one hand, she looks like she is in a state of constant surprise, with eyes wide open like a deer in headlights. On the other hand, she does have her own pair of headlight, which is nice.

I think that was happened to House mostly -- the Shippers got to the writers room.

As for the second part -- meh. You can find (images of) hot attractive women easily, without the mediore stuff surrounding it.

I'm sorry, but L&O is awesome, especially SVU. WTH are some of you people smoking?

To be fair to the network, it only costs as much as following Charlie Sheen around with a camera on the weekends.

...and weekdays. :crazyeye:

Yeah, but it's not trying to be anything other than that. And that's why it works better. All the rest are pretty much just rehashed jokes that were old on Gilligan's Island.

That is the worst rationalization for why Two and a Half Men sucks that I have ever heard, and I've heard a bunch.

It's still better than the others :p I rarely watch any sitcom. Because most are so lost in rehashed old jokes and stereotypes that they actually make Two and a Half Men look good in comparison.

For the first little while I thought that "Grey's Anatomy" was a show about aliens.. you know.. about how doctors were dissecting grey aliens? So I was pretty disappointed when I found out from my then-gf that it was about doctors who have sex with eachother.

I was also disappointed when I found out that the show about Cardassians isn't really about about Cardassians but some ho named Kardashian or something

Anyway, most tv shows suck, which is why I don't watch tv anymore.

American Idol, So You Think You can Dane, John and Kate Plus Eight, and their ilk.

Is that the spin-off where they run around Europe raping and pillaging? That was totally worth it for a season.

There's enough on there for me to state that pretty much any network weekday television would fit in this area for me. "Reality" shows are the worst scourge to mankind since the Plague.

But I'm not exactly your typical mass-market viewer.

I'm quite happy to watch Bones, NCIS, Big Bang Theory and Modern Family on the rare occasion that I actually watch TV.
