I've been watching tv, taking smoke breaks to read the forums, then more tv, then sleep soon. It's like Christmas, if I go to bed early Sid will come sooner, and unlock my copy of Civ V.

I'll be asleep most of the time, and then start downloading the demo.

Watching some Monday Night football, doing some homework, going to bed shortly so as to be able to wake up at 6:00 tomorrow morning to try the game out.

I've managed to clear myself of course/thesis work for the next week or so, and the girlfriend's busy with her own dissertation work, so I'm good for the next few days. Until tomorrow, Monday Night Football (Go Saints, my Seahawks need you to beat the Niners) and some NHL 11 later.

Nice man. I'm working on my Master's thesis in history, too. British defense policy between the two World Wars.

Cleaning my computer and doing some performance tweaking, I am updating all my drivers. And the best of all installing my New Creative X-Fi Titanium Pro Fatality and then listening to classical music.

I just bought a new sound card just for CIV5. Yes I am crazy but I allready got a great DX11 graphics card, and after seeing more than 300 songs in the preload I just had to have a better sound card. My ears deserve a great sound card for all the countless hours I plan to play civ5.

    Core i7 920
    6gb ram

I think the video card is going to give me issues...It isn't that great of a card :(. We'll see though.
