Well, two kinds of defense....defending myself or whoever I want to defend and playing defense in American football.

Other than that, I'm pretty useless!

I have many. (Hey, never said one of them was being modest) I have quite a lot of physical strength for a girl (have beaten boys at arm and regular wrestling), I can draw well, I can cook a little bit... As an odd talent I've been doing since I was about 6, I can roll my stomach. Like, you know, belly dancers do. I'm also great at math! And I'm good at being cute, which really isn't a talent, it's just ******ed.... that's about it for me.

imHo I am good at listening - a nice quality

I think most of this thread will be filled with I am good at this and that sport, game, etc, so I thought I should share something less materialistic

Continuing the no-materialism thing I have going: I am good at being there for my friends - another nice quality

To Norwegian standards (as English is a foreign language) I d say that English is one of my strenghts: Netting A after A through "high school" (videregående) as proof
Norwegian is another strenght, also netting me A after A after A

Before I continue along the line of academic knowledge bragging: I ve always done quite well in most school subjects - never worse than a B (and given that I actually try to translate the Norwegian grade system to adapt to the American, that can't say much other than in the very top level of grades)

I consider myself a fast reader - can digest large books in "no time"

Hehe - compared to the regent ai in civ3, I am good at civ

This thread is an ego boost - and we all need that sometimes

Um...Civ (Emperor level).

But what real things am I good at? Uh, I guess I'm good at school - I can get 90-95s if I actually try p). I'm OK at running, not the best on the team but probably better than most of the general population. I would say I'm kinda funny, but I'm starting to praise myself too much.

Oh and my English teacher says I write well.

EDIT: Not handwriting, that is barely readable, but I mean creative and paper writing.

After I survey the general population on its talents and capabilities and derive a definition of "good" and its precise parameters I`ll let you know.

I do know I`m good at overanalyzing problems and delving into unnecessary detail, though. I suppose that could also be translated into "I`m bad at analyzing problems" but let`s be positive here.

I`m also a good driver and a good agnostic. I`m can handle mental arithmetic pretty well too. I can type quickly. I can plant and cut down trees with great expedience. That about covers it.

-> from this I gather that it is either what yoy find are your strenghts when comparing your abilities, or what you find are your strenghts when comparing your abilities to other people's abilities

You can be a person without any absolute advantages from your abilities, but have a relatively good ability or two, compared to the rest of your abilities.

Hopefully that is understandable English. Still my second language

Whatever you feel like sharing. It can be something that you are good at compared to others or something you simply take personal pride in.

I can urinate on ceilings... don't know too many that can do that.

I'm also fairly handy at clutching defeat from the jaws of victory when trying to pick up women.

I am good at comforting people, when something goes wrong in their lives and they feel like dirt. It only work offline, because it's hard to do it online, although I try. It may not sound like talent to you, but you never have seen me in action.

I can also put my elbows together behind my back. I'm not really proud of that.

I'm good at math (I have a degree in math). I'm good at eating. I'm good at watching high school football. I'm good at swearing, belching, and other forms of mild antisocial behavior. I'm also good at sitting on my butt for hours on end and playing Civ. I'm good at babysitting my niece and nephew. I'm good at playing mexican train dominoes.

I'm good at letting women give me grief without giving any back.
