Snoopy

It has become clear to me now that not one Civilization version can please most civ players, and this is a sad unfortunate truth that we as civ players will face. I hated Civ3 and dreaded Civ4, yet there are so many of you who love either one of those games. Civ5 is a fantastic game to me, I'm very happy I can finally start playing Civ like I did back in the 90's.
I think it would be a good idea to list out what you love, like and hate about Civ5, perhaps then Firaxis can bring forward some of those missed out players who hate Civ5. Of course being careful not to break the game, for example, taking out the 1upt rule.
Love:
1upt rule
many distinct terrain graphics
large tiles / large map
no stacking
wonders on terrain with construction gfx
battle animations
realistic terrain
importance of gold, happiness, resources
social policies
leader screens
interface
Like:
smooth polygons (for those who can do it )
Less 3D feel (no tilting when zooming in and out)
Hate:
no wonder movies
no animation for multiplayer
game setup unexciting
river graphics
city graphics too simple
iceberg graphics
no way to see entire map in larger view
no way to see city and unit overview
