Because I'm bored, I miss school, and I couldn't be assed to find the most recent thread like this. Here's mine, which I'm pretty happy with:

Or, if you prefer a more visual schedule:

I'm also planning to do research with one of the biology professors for credit. And as a fun fact, my instructors for chemistry and Religious Traditions of India are married. So that's something unique I get as a double major, and I get it every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

This thread reminds me that I technically should sign up for some classes for next quarter.

Guess I'll do that tomorrow. :mischief:

Don't know what fall classes I will have yet, but right now I am taking Programming in JavaScript and Baseball and the American Experience. The former is part of my BS in Computer Science and the latter is just an elective I had to take because, you know, "well-rounded education" and all that jazz.

Hey, I don't have many friends back home, and I like the rhythm of academic life.
Congrats! What will you be doing?

I like the structure. I like having a set schedule and a reason to get out of bed. My summers tend to be uneventful and lethargic, so right now I'm wistful for rigor.

I dont understand US higher education. You can take STEM subjects and things like Environmental Theology? What the hell?

I'm getting a double major, so I'm getting a BS in environmental science and a BA in religious studies at the same time, if that explains anything. Although my college does have pretty heavy emphasis on getting a broad education. The environmental theology course fulfills requirements for both degrees, since you're supposed to take two courses dealing with environmental issues from outside the natural sciences, to inform your perspective.

environmental theology sounds almost too perfect for your major. it sounds like you made it up.

I came here to troll, but now I see JR beat me to it.

But I'll be taking some math (addition, maybe some subtraction), doesn't start until the 2016 semester though.

That sounds pretty weird to me. STEM studies are usually very time-consuming from what I've seen and know to have enough time for another major as you call it.

And the bolded parts sounds like nothing my Eco-Chem-Eng. buddies ever did.
