I am unsure and it has been a question bothering me for a good while (months and months)

In absense of a complete answer I have picked my path for the next few years. Admittedly the path ends in three years an I will be in the same position, but hopefully a little older, and a little wiser.

So, young and old posters alike, in your current climate.. what do you want to do with this time you have been given?

Start a small (probably like 15-20 people) community in some rural location (I have one in mind) and try to live as sustainably as possible. Raise smart, capable children, enjoy life.

For the next few years I plan to live around New York City though so I can find my people and work & save money. :)

I also want to create simple stragetic computer games with mass appeal and make a few K a year and have a lot of fun at that. I'm lazy though & don't know much about any programming language since BASIC.

Narz, give me 5 years and I will be in charge of 300 acres of lush arable land, which ends at the sea. You can set up your community on the farm if you guys help out a bit?

I'm a social and romantic person by nature. I want to get married and have an incredible marrage with a wonderful girl, and have incredible friendships with wonderful people.

I'd also like to have interesting carrer where I can express my intellegence and creativity while making enough money to have a nice home, all the movies and music I want, and the oppertunity to travel to New Zealand someday. I do not want children, honestly, they'd get in the way and screw things up.

Have you read any of Michael Pollan's books on sustainable farming?

Can't say I have, i'll look him up :D

Glad your "back" el Mac

Spend all of my nights posting to OT and hopefully reaching 2M total posts before I die of age

Doesnt seem a very fulfilling aim to me, and probably impossible...

I think I'd like to build myself a house, or some sort of dwelling anyway, and preferably fill it with a nice girl and then live out the rest of my days doing whatever I feel like at the time.

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

To complete a survey regarding the personal choices , lifestyle and generally information regarding the users of an internet forum based on a complex turn based strategy game.

(Any similarity with actual events or real people occurring above is purely coincidental.)

No schnit? Ok. I never imagined I'd end up in Briton but I won't rule it out. Lush is good! Tell me though, does the property slope upwards. Cause all the "global warming scare tactics" got me a little nervous to set up camp on a flat surface too close to the ocean.

I didn't know he wrote books on that. I like his articles. Still have "The Botany of Desire" that I've yet to read.

I want to publish my novels, graduate college to a career in Special Education, and marry a wonderful girl and start a family.
Regardless of what happens, I always want to be aware of God and the concept of destiny.

I wanna rock.

Words to live by.

You see, some people think there is some sort of higher place in life that gets you somewhere. Like giving to the poor and helping the less fortunate somehow benefit you in the long run.

BULL, FREAKING, SHNIZ!!!!!!

All you gotta do is rock, and take care of your own, and you are good man. Stop thinking about it so hard. Life is an adventure. Grab life by the horns, and buy a Dodge probably I don't know. :goodjob:
