I was a vegetarian until I started leaning towards sunlight
-Rite Rudner

I really dont get it......

She was becoming a plant?

Its seriously frustrating me....Im getting this basic connection but how would facing the sun make you not a vegetarian? And if its a plant, how the hell was it not a vegetarian in the first place?

Is it implying from the "you are what you eat" saying, that she was a vegetarian and then became a plant?

But how though? I have this feeling this is just one of those really pointless dumb quotes, but its bugging the crap out of me......what does turning to the sun have to do with anything? And how can this be implying that vegetarianism isnt natural?

Plants turn themselves towards the sun as it goes across the sky. I assume you've never seen a sunflower? By saying that she was leaning towards the sun because she was a vegetarian, she is saying that she was becoming a plant herself by eating them. What she means by that is that, because she no longer eats meat, she is losing what makes her be meat. Humans are meat, not plants. Thus, because she is not eating meat, she feels less human than when she did, so she stopped being a vegetarian.

She's a comedian. It's supposed to be stupid. So since she eats plants shes becoming one and is therefore leaning towards the sun, which was bad because she apparently wanted like to stay human, so she stopped being a vegetarian.

That was my first thought.....but I thought it was to obvious........holy crap I knew this would happen....

I was a meat eater until I found myself thinking and travelling as a mob (when not caged), surrounded by crap and saying only "MOO00oooore".

Anyway, South Park has proven what happens when you turn to vegetarianism.

Fun with Veal (perhaps the greatest SP episode ever)
