What have you learnt from video games?

I've learned that you can continue to misspell for almost 9 freaking pages. You...MORON!
I've learnt, jackoff, that you're an idiot, since that is actually the correct spelling. Now kindly sodomise yourself with a red-hot poker.

EDIT: Thanks Lucy.

I've learnt that there are certain special moments in life where, if someone doesn't do something or say the right thing, then a wonderful opportunity is lost.

Thank heavens for Biff the Understudy.

Kind of false. But on that note, I've learned a lot of text in games, though meant to create story and entertainment, is actually usually boring and tedious.
Are you sure? Because all I gotta do is hit the use button and I get the stats boost.

I've learned that life would be much easier if it had a reset button.

No way! Then you gotta start from nothing and go through all the stupid damn tutorials again, you start out with crap strength and no items, it just sucks! Save points are one thing, but reset just sucks.

Exactly. You want to breach the vagina AGAIN!? :dubious:

I've learned that you start off life killing small animals like rats and beatles, but the more you level up the bigger and meaner the things you have to kill will be.

I've also learned that doing repetitive tasks will earn you experience points to make you better at other non-related skills.

I've learned that if you want to do anything, you can't rely on the people around you (NPC's) to do it, because they are ******** and poorly programmed.

I've learned the camera-angle, and consequently your perception, is more often than not in a horrible perspective, so you end up going through life not seeing half of what you could.

I learned that to get good at anything, you have to do it repetitively for a long period of time, and the better you get, the slower you progress.

I've learned camping is something only noobs and poor people do.

I don't think this thread is serious, buts some video games do seem to improve concentration and critical thinking skills.

This is serious thread.

Mario taught me to slam my head into bricks.

Madden taught me that punting is stupid. real men always go for it on 4th down.
I learned that football games always end in ridiculously lopsided scores like 64-0. (NFL Blitz series...wow crappy AI.)

You can even lose the farms you're using to feed them, and they won't mind.

I learned that if you massacre all of the inhabitants of a small, remote town, leaving no survivors, every guard in the entire world will instantly know of your crimes.

I learned that it is impossible to ask someone blocking your path to move out of the way; you will either have to kill them, jump over them, or use console commands to move them out of the way.

I learned that items can float in the air if you stack them on top of other items and remove the items on the bottom.
