What have you learnt from video games?

What have you learnt from video games?

Basically... nothing. (Anything you learn from a 'video game' isn't applicable in real life - unless you're planning to blow up your school... If I want to learn something, I read.)
I'm going to assume that one of the things you've read was this:

I've learned that people can take quite a few bullets before they die...sometimes even to the head...

I've learned that no matter what type of government, the leader will always stay the same...

I have learned - LightFang, philippe, and Subi know this best - that the theme from the Benny Hill show, Yakety Sax, plays during critical moments in combat.
-If you mount something on the tip of a flamethrower that looks like a snake's head and draw a scary face on it, it will radically alter it's properties and give you +125 health.
They patched that some time ago, actually.
Likewise, Spain thoroughly controlled Lisbon in June 1940, and Italy did so in 1914. In fact, Spain did not even exist at that date.
 I don't get the reference.

 A classic.

I learned that it can take up to 65 arrows to the head before someone finally dies.

I believe the Civilization II scenarios. I remember the World War I scenario where there was not a Spain, but there was a Lisbon (controlled by Italy.)

Oh, wow. Wayyyyyy back. I'd forgotten little tidbits like those.

Godwynn's right. Civ II's WWII scenario had Spain ruling Lisbon, and the later expansion pack's WWI scenario had no Spain, but Italy ruled Lisbon.

I learned that at any instant, you can freeze time and unfreeze it having fired a sure head shot.
