Not sure if this has been posted but here is what I had to do to get my old games to work with the .BIC tweaks that I use (less corruption).
my old .bic and civ3edit.exe were over written so...
1- uninstalled the game....probably overkill
2- backed up the civ3edit.exe and civ3mod.bic to a sub folder
3- loaded 1.16 patch
4- backed up the civ3edit.exe and civ3mod.bic to a sub folder
5- loaded the 1.17 patch
6- backed up the civ3edit.exe and civ3mod.bic to a sub folder
7- edited the 1.16 bic with the 1.16 editor.
8- moved the version 1.16 .bic into the Civ3 root dir
9 - loaded all the great graphics mods that I am so appreciative to have available....kudos.
10- I am now playing my old game....
11- further game play is untested at this time.
