Despite having Opera and Firebird, I still use Internet Explorer regularly. I'm wondering whether I should get an IE add-on - a browser like MyIE2 or Avanat. Should I get one, and which one would you recommend?

Personally I just use basic IE 6 on a regular basis for my web browsing - it's the most leniant when it comes to how to display code and shows just about everything.

I use Opera, Mozilla, and Netscape only when I want to view a site I have designed in other browsers. It's not that I don't like these browsers, it's just that I'm entirely used to IE and the way it works, and frankly it works fine for me.

But seeing as what I'm saying has absolutely nothing to do with your question, I haven't used any, but I hear great things about Avanat. Check that one out.

I use FreeSurfer MkII (freeware app) to control the IE popups, which it does pretty well. It's not a plugin so much as a utility app that runs in the taskbar.

I think that the program StrokeIt (check for the thread) gives some functions to IE, that I find very useful in other browsers.
