What if a strategy gamer was elected President?

Am I the only one worried about getting clicked on and turned into a tax collector?

Oh...no.....what a nightmare that could be.

Example: I think Kim Jong-il would be an excellent strategy gamer. He certainly acts like one as Dear Leader.

I got the idea after reading an article on him in the new US News & World Report. It described how he would work until 4 a.m., watching foreign news stations, micromanaging everything....sounds like he were playing Tropico.

That could happen in Europa Unversalis 2 also.... You could however become a governor if you time it right.....

Would probably move full steam towards SDI, build a strong defensive military contingent, and before vanquishing incompetent enemies, develop a nation so economically strong, it is not worth even competing with.

That is if the "builder" ilk is in charge

The native populous of conquered cities will be starved down to a minimal population size, but they'll happy because the don't have to work.
