My computer specs are pretty high:

Intel Core i7-3770 3.40GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

My comp's idle temps are always between 35-45 degrees C, and normally sits at 60-70 degrees C when playing high-graphic games. Almost never does it reach 80 degrees under any circumstances.

With Civ5, I'm seeing it regularly hit 70 and above in temperature. I play on highest graphics settings, so I tried turning all the settings down to Low, but the GPU temperature was still as high as 65.

Is this sort of temperature to be expected from Civ5, or a problem?

GPU chips are fine with 90°C, so no problem.
