What is going on in the UK?

On a tangent: I wouldn't say that Greece is a "densely populated" country. It has almost exactly the same landmass (km^2) as England but only a little over 1/6 of its population ^^
It is extremely densely populated in the main cities, though.
It's densely populated where it's populated?

Pretty simplistic analysis I would say.

I see little benefit in complicating a simple analysis by including uncultivated deserts and mountains etc.

Suffice it to say that the economics of immigration are different in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada,
New Zealand and Russia to those in Belgium, England, Luxembourg, Netherlands, USA and yes Greece.

I don't have to prove anything.
If I feel like it's gone down the crapper, I feel like it's gone down the crapper.

But hey, keep pretending all is well. That always works.
Why should anyone believe anything you say if you refuse to provide proof?

Densely populated by NZ standards. The terrains kinda bad (worse than NZ). So most of the population gets concentrated in a cramped area.

Very pretty not counting ruins or Aegean islands.

Smalke er than I thought. Our South Islands bigger. Double the population NZ, South Islands 1.2 million (half of that is 2 cities)..

Here things get cramped if you go to a beach and there's another family on it:).

Someone should do something. Like make this a crime and punish offenders or something. If there's a petition, I'll sign it.

This has turned out to be something these companies can do to a fair extent based just on their current advertising based profiling of their own users. Meta is in the news in Australia complaining that they banned half a million accounts even though they don't want to. Which does show that they can identify and ban a lot of accounts.

This version of a ban is a light touch approach of just requiring "reasonable measures" like self moderation. It's specifically not requiring ID collection or retention, or universal verification of all users, and specifically not requiring companies to demonstrate full effectiveness and no under 16s at all.

I'm not saying the Brits won't go for more heavy handed routes of ID collection etc. but the light touch version of a ban here, focused on public optics, hasn't had too many issues

Meanwhile in the UK

Robert Jenrick was seen by many as the number 2 in the conservative party,
and perhaps more importantly he has not held a government job long enough
to demonstrate his incompetence in the way that other defectors have done.

And yet Reform is still banging that threadbare old drum about how they're not one of the established parties, that they represent a clear alternative to the Tories and that they don't accept any old riff-raff in their party.

Well I wouldn't quite call him riff-raff, but I rather think that the immediately previous defector Nadhim Zahawi will be a mixed blessing for Reform.

I don't know.

Probably the same way as porn sites.

By demanding we give credit card information and submitting personal photographs with a piece of cardboard, I suppose.

Nothing that would be a problem for a skilled delinquent 15 year old using AI fakes, but it would likely confuse simple old me.
